Gone Home
"Gone Home" is a first-person exploration video game developed by The Fullbright Company. Set in 1995, players assume the role of Katie Greenbriar, who returns to her family's home after a year abroad. Upon arrival, she discovers the house empty and must uncover the story of her family's recent events through environmental storytelling.
The game emphasizes exploration and narrative over traditional gameplay mechanics. Players interact with various objects and clues throughout the house, piecing together the lives of Katie's family members, including her sister Sam and parents, as they navigate personal struggles and relationships.
