Golfer's Elbow
Golfer's Elbow, or medial epicondylitis, is a condition characterized by pain and inflammation on the inner side of the elbow. It occurs when the tendons that attach to the medial epicondyle become irritated, often due to repetitive wrist and arm motions. While commonly associated with golf, it can affect anyone who performs repetitive activities involving the forearm.
Symptoms of Golfer's Elbow include pain, tenderness, and stiffness in the elbow, which may radiate down the forearm. Treatment typically involves rest, ice, and anti-inflammatory medications. In some cases, physical therapy or corticosteroid injections may be recommended to alleviate symptoms.
