Golden eagle
The Golden eagle is a large bird of prey found across the Northern Hemisphere, particularly in mountainous regions. It has a wingspan of up to 7.5 feet and is known for its powerful build and striking golden-brown plumage. This eagle primarily hunts small to medium-sized mammals, such as rabbits and squirrels, using its keen eyesight and swift flight.
Golden eagles are highly skilled hunters and can reach speeds of over 150 miles per hour during dives. They typically build large nests in cliffs or tall trees, where they raise their young. These birds are also known for their impressive aerial displays during courtship.
