Goh Keng Swee
Goh Keng Swee was a prominent Singaporean politician and a key figure in the country's development after its independence in 1965. Born on October 6, 1918, he played a crucial role in shaping Singapore's economic policies and was instrumental in establishing its industrialization strategy. He served as the Minister for Finance and later as the Minister for Defence, contributing significantly to the nation's stability and growth.
