Goderich Lighthouse
The Goderich Lighthouse is located in Goderich, Ontario, Canada, on the shores of Lake Huron. Built in 1847, it is one of the oldest lighthouses on the Great Lakes. The lighthouse stands 18 meters tall and features a distinctive white tower with a red lantern room, guiding ships safely into the harbor.
The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1958 but remains a popular historical site and tourist attraction. It is part of the Goderich Harbour, which has a rich maritime history. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the lake and learn about the area's nautical heritage at nearby facilities.
