Gobblers Knob
Gobblers Knob is a small hill located in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. It is famously known as the home of the annual Groundhog Day celebration, where a groundhog named Punxsutawney Phil is said to predict the weather. Each February 2nd, thousands of visitors gather to watch the event, which has become a popular tradition since its inception in 1887.
The site features a wooden stage and a large crowd area for spectators. The festivities include music, entertainment, and various activities leading up to the moment when Phil emerges from his burrow. If he sees his shadow, it is believed there will be six more weeks of winter.
