Global Compact
The Global Compact is a voluntary initiative launched by the United Nations in 2000. It encourages businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies. The initiative is built on ten principles related to human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, aiming to create a more sustainable and inclusive global economy.
Participating companies commit to aligning their operations and strategies with these principles. The Global Compact also promotes collaboration among businesses, governments, and civil society to address global challenges, such as climate change and inequality, fostering a culture of responsible corporate citizenship.
