Giorgos Seféris
Giorgos Seféris was a prominent Greek poet and diplomat, born on March 13, 1900, in Urla, Turkey. He is best known for his modernist poetry, which often explores themes of identity, loss, and the human experience. Seféris was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1963, making him the first Greek to receive this honor.
