Gimbals
A gimbal is a pivoted support that allows an object, such as a camera, to rotate freely along one or more axes. This device stabilizes the camera, helping to eliminate unwanted movements and vibrations, resulting in smoother video footage and clearer images. Gimbals are commonly used in filmmaking, photography, and drone operations.
There are different types of gimbals, including handheld, motorized, and smartphone gimbals. Handheld gimbals are often used by videographers for dynamic shots, while motorized gimbals provide automated stabilization. Many smartphones now come with built-in gimbal features, enhancing the quality of mobile photography and videography.
