Giessenlanden
Giessenlanden is a former municipality located in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands. It was established in 1989 and consisted of several villages, including Beesd, Heukelum, and Kedichem. In 2019, Giessenlanden merged with the municipality of Vianen to form a new municipality called Vijfheerenlanden.
The area is known for its picturesque landscapes, featuring rivers and green fields. Giessenlanden is part of the historical region of Gorinchem and is characterized by its rural charm and small-town atmosphere.
