Gibran Tueni
Gibran Tueni was a prominent Lebanese journalist and politician, known for his strong advocacy of freedom of speech and democracy in Lebanon. Born on January 15, 1972, he became the editor of the influential newspaper An-Nahar and was recognized for his critical stance against corruption and political oppression.
Tragically, Tueni's life was cut short when he was assassinated on December 12, 2005, in a car bomb attack.
