Giant Eland
The Giant Eland is the largest species of antelope, native to the savannas and woodlands of West Africa and Central Africa. Males can weigh up to 1,000 pounds and stand about 4 feet tall at the shoulder. They have a distinctive appearance, with long, spiraled horns and a light brown coat featuring white stripes and markings.
Giant Elands are herbivores, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, and shrubs. They are social animals, often found in small herds, and are known for their agility and strength. Despite their size, they can run swiftly and jump high, making them adept at escaping predators.
