Giant Baba
Giant Baba was a famous Japanese professional wrestler and promoter, born on January 23, 1938, in Osaka, Japan. Standing at 6 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 300 pounds, he was known for his impressive size and strength. Baba began his wrestling career in the 1960s and quickly gained popularity for his unique style and charisma in the ring.
In addition to his wrestling career, Giant Baba co-founded All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) in 1972, which became one of the leading wrestling promotions in Japan. He was instrumental in promoting and developing many wrestling talents, including Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi.
