Gheorghe Hagi
Gheorghe Hagi is a retired Romanian football player and coach, widely regarded as one of the greatest Romanian athletes. Born on February 5, 1965, in Săcele, Romania, he played as an attacking midfielder and was known for his exceptional dribbling, vision, and passing skills. Hagi had a successful club career, playing for teams like Steaua Bucharest, Real Madrid, and Galatasaray, where he won numerous domestic and international titles.
After retiring from professional play, Hagi transitioned into coaching and founded the Gheorghe Hagi Academy to nurture young talent in Romania.
