Ghanaian Languages
Ghana is home to over 80 languages, with the most widely spoken being Akan, Ewe, and Ga. Akan includes dialects like Twi and Fante, which are used by millions of people. These languages belong to the larger Niger-Congo language family, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the country.
In addition to these major languages, several other languages are spoken by various ethnic groups, such as Dagbani in the north and Nzema in the southwest. English is the official language, used in government and education, facilitating communication among the diverse population.
