German Ski Association
The German Ski Association (DSV) is the national governing body for skiing in Germany. Founded in 1905, it oversees various winter sports, including alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and ski jumping. The DSV is responsible for organizing competitions, training athletes, and promoting skiing at all levels, from grassroots to elite.
The association also plays a key role in developing coaching programs and ensuring safety standards in skiing. It collaborates with international organizations, such as the International Ski Federation (FIS), to enhance the sport's growth and competitiveness. The DSV aims to foster a love for skiing among all age groups in Germany.
