German National People's Party
The German National People's Party (DNVP) was a political party in Germany that existed from 1918 to 1945. It emerged after World War I and represented nationalist and conservative interests. The party opposed the Weimar Republic and sought to restore the monarchy, advocating for traditional values and a strong national identity.
The DNVP was influential in the early 1930s, aligning with other right-wing groups, including the Nazi Party. However, it lost power after the Nazis consolidated control in 1933. The party was eventually dissolved in 1945 following Germany's defeat in World War II, marking the end of its political influence.
