Geothermal Systems
Geothermal systems harness the Earth's internal heat for energy and heating. They utilize the stable temperatures found underground, typically a few feet below the surface, to regulate building temperatures. This is achieved through a series of pipes, known as geothermal heat exchangers, which circulate a fluid to absorb or release heat.
These systems can be used for both residential and commercial applications. By tapping into the natural heat of the Earth, geothermal systems provide an efficient and sustainable energy source, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. They are often considered a renewable energy solution.
