Georges Remi
Georges Remi, better known by his pen name Hergé, was a Belgian cartoonist born on May 22, 1907. He is best known for creating the beloved comic series The Adventures of Tintin, which features a young reporter named Tintin and his dog, Snowy. Hergé's work is celebrated for its detailed artwork and engaging storytelling.
Hergé's first Tintin story was published in 1929, and the series quickly gained popularity, leading to numerous albums and adaptations. His influence on the comic industry is significant, and he is regarded as one of the pioneers of the modern comic strip. Hergé passed away on March 3, 1983.
