Geographic North Pole
The Geographic North Pole is the northernmost point on Earth, located at 90 degrees north latitude. It is the point where all lines of longitude converge and is situated in the Arctic Ocean, surrounded by sea ice. Unlike the Magnetic North Pole, which shifts over time due to changes in the Earth's magnetic field, the Geographic North Pole remains fixed.
The area around the Geographic North Pole experiences extreme weather conditions, with long periods of continuous daylight in summer and darkness in winter. It is a remote and inhospitable region, primarily inhabited by polar bears and various marine life, making it a unique ecosystem.
