Geneviève of Paris
Geneviève of Paris was a 5th-century Christian saint and the patroness of Paris. She is best known for her role in defending the city against the invasion of the Huns led by Attila the Hun. Geneviève encouraged the people of Paris to remain steadfast in their faith and not to flee, believing that divine protection would save them.
Born around 422 AD, Geneviève became a nun and devoted her life to prayer and charity. Her influence grew as she became a spiritual leader, and she is often credited with performing miracles. She was canonized as a saint, and her feast day is celebrated on January 3.
