General Omar Bradley
General Omar Bradley was a senior United States Army officer during World War II. He played a crucial role in major campaigns, including the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Known for his leadership and strategic planning, he was often referred to as the "soldier's general" due to his concern for the welfare of his troops.
After the war, Bradley became the first Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where he helped shape U.S. military policy during the early years of the Cold War. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
