Gemini 12
Gemini 12 was a crewed space mission launched by NASA on January 11, 1966. It was the final flight of the Gemini program, which aimed to develop space travel techniques for future missions. The mission featured astronauts James Lovell and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, who conducted various experiments and performed a successful spacewalk.
During the mission, Lovell and Aldrin completed a series of maneuvers, including docking with the Gemini Agena Target Vehicle. They also tested techniques for rendezvous and orbital maneuvers, which were crucial for the upcoming Apollo program. Gemini 12 successfully returned to Earth on November 15, 1966.
