Gecko Species
Geckos are a diverse group of lizards belonging to the family Gekkonidae. They are found in warm climates around the world, with over 1,500 species identified. Geckos are known for their unique adaptations, such as their ability to climb smooth surfaces and their vocalizations, which can include chirps and clicks.
These reptiles vary greatly in size, color, and habitat preferences. Some common species include the Leopard Gecko, known for its spotted appearance, and the Tokay Gecko, recognized for its vibrant colors and loud calls. Geckos play important roles in their ecosystems, primarily as insectivores.
