Gazelle Species
Gazelles are a group of antelopes belonging to the genus Gazella. They are known for their graceful movements and speed, which help them evade predators in their natural habitats, primarily found in Africa and parts of Asia. There are several species of gazelles, including the Thomson's gazelle and the Grant's gazelle, each adapted to their specific environments.
These animals typically inhabit open grasslands, savannas, and deserts. Gazelles are herbivores, feeding mainly on grasses and leaves. They are social animals, often found in herds, which provide safety in numbers against predators like lions and cheetahs. Their unique adaptations, such as long legs and a lightweight body, make them exceptional runners.
