Gas Transportation
Gas transportation refers to the process of moving natural gas from production sites to consumers. This is typically done through a network of pipelines that connect gas fields to processing plants and distribution centers. The gas is often compressed to facilitate efficient movement over long distances.
In addition to pipelines, other methods like LNG (liquefied natural gas) shipping are used for transporting gas, especially to regions without pipeline access. LNG is cooled to a liquid state, making it easier to store and transport. Once it reaches its destination, it is regasified and distributed to homes and businesses.
