Gamma Cephei
Gamma Cephei is a binary star system located in the constellation Cepheus. It is approximately 45 light-years away from Earth and consists of two stars: a primary star, Gamma Cephei A, which is a K-type giant, and a secondary star, Gamma Cephei B, a smaller and cooler red dwarf.
The primary star, Gamma Cephei A, is about 50% larger than our Sun and has a surface temperature of around 4,600 Kelvin. The system is notable for its potential to host exoplanets, and it has been a subject of interest for astronomers studying stellar evolution and planetary formation.
