Game & Watch
The Game & Watch series is a line of handheld electronic games created by Nintendo in the early 1980s. Each device features a single game displayed on an LCD screen, along with a clock and an alarm function. The first model, released in 1980, was called Ball, and the series became popular for its portability and simple gameplay.
Over the years, Game & Watch expanded to include 59 different games, with many featuring iconic characters like Mario and Donkey Kong. The series laid the groundwork for future handheld gaming devices, influencing the design of later systems such as the Game Boy.
