Galileo Spacecraft
The Galileo Spacecraft was a NASA mission launched in 1989 to study the planet Jupiter and its moons. It was the first spacecraft to orbit Jupiter, providing valuable data about the planet's atmosphere, magnetic field, and its largest moons, including Io, Europa, and Ganymede.
The spacecraft carried a suite of scientific instruments that allowed it to capture detailed images and gather information about Jupiter's composition and weather patterns. After completing its mission in 2003, the Galileo Spacecraft was intentionally directed into Jupiter to avoid contaminating any of its moons, which may harbor conditions suitable for life.
