GATE
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, commonly known as GATE, is an examination conducted in India for assessing the knowledge and understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. It is primarily used for admission to postgraduate programs, such as Master's degrees in engineering, technology, and architecture, as well as for recruitment in public sector companies.
GATE is jointly administered by several Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The exam evaluates candidates on their comprehension of core subjects and their ability to apply concepts in practical scenarios. It is a crucial step for students aspiring to further their education or secure jobs in competitive sectors.
