G clef
The G clef, also known as the treble clef, is a musical symbol used to indicate the pitch of written notes. It is placed at the beginning of a staff and designates the second line from the bottom as the note G. This helps musicians read and interpret music for higher-pitched instruments and voices.
In addition to the G clef, there are other clefs, such as the F clef and C clef, which serve different ranges of notes. The G clef is commonly used for instruments like the violin, flute, and trumpet, as well as for the higher parts in choral music.
