G Stars
G Stars are a classification of stars that fall within the spectral type G. These stars are characterized by their yellowish color and moderate temperatures, typically ranging from about 5,300 to 6,000 degrees Celsius. The most well-known example of a G Star is our own Sun, which is essential for life on Earth.
G Stars are often found in the main sequence phase of their life cycle, where they spend the majority of their existence fusing hydrogen into helium in their cores. They are important in the study of stellar evolution and can host planetary systems, making them of particular interest in the search for extraterrestrial life.
