Găgăuz language
The Găgăuz language is a Turkic language spoken primarily by the Găgăuz people, who mainly reside in the autonomous region of Găgăuzia in Moldova. It is closely related to other Turkic languages, such as Turkish and Azerbaijani, and has been influenced by Romanian and Russian due to historical interactions.
Găgăuz is written using the Latin alphabet, which was adopted in the early 1990s. The language is an important part of Găgăuz cultural identity and is used in daily communication, education, and local media. Efforts are ongoing to promote and preserve the language among younger generations.
