Funcinpec
Funcinpec, or the National United Front for an Independent, Neutral, Peaceful, and Cooperative Cambodia, is a political party in Cambodia. Founded in 1993, it emerged from the royalist movement and has historically supported the monarchy. The party's main goal is to promote national unity and independence while advocating for democratic governance.
Over the years, Funcinpec has faced challenges, including internal divisions and competition from other political parties, notably the Cambodian People's Party. Despite these challenges, it has played a significant role in Cambodia's political landscape, particularly during the 1990s and early 2000s.
