Full Guard
Full Guard is a position in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts where a practitioner lies on their back with their opponent between their legs. The person on the bottom uses their legs to control the opponent's posture and movement, creating opportunities for submissions or sweeps. This position allows for both defensive and offensive strategies.
In Full Guard, the bottom player can employ various techniques, such as armbar, triangle choke, or omoplata, to submit their opponent. Maintaining a strong grip on the opponent's arms or collar can enhance control, making it difficult for the opponent to pass the guard and gain a dominant position.
