Frits Thaulow
Frits Thaulow was a Norwegian painter born on October 20, 1847, in Drammen, Norway. He is best known for his landscapes and depictions of Norwegian scenery, often capturing the beauty of rivers and snowy landscapes. Thaulow studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and was influenced by the Impressionist movement, which is evident in his use of light and color.

He became a prominent figure in the art world and was associated with the Skagen Painters, a group of artists who painted in Denmark.
