Fridrich
The Fridrich method, also known as CFOP, is a popular technique for solving the Rubik's Cube. It consists of four main steps: Cross, F2L (First Two Layers), OLL (Orientation of the Last Layer), and PLL (Permutation of the Last Layer). This method is favored by speedcubers for its efficiency and speed, allowing them to solve the cube in a matter of seconds.
Developed by Jessica Fridrich in the 1980s, the Fridrich method emphasizes memorization of algorithms for the last layer, which significantly reduces solving time. It is widely taught in cubing communities and has become a standard approach for competitive cubers around the world.
