French presses
A French press is a popular coffee brewing device that uses a simple method to extract flavors from coffee grounds. It consists of a cylindrical glass or stainless steel container, a plunger, and a mesh filter. To use it, coarsely ground coffee is steeped in hot water for several minutes before pressing the plunger down to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee.
This method allows for a rich and full-bodied flavor, as the coffee oils and fine particles remain in the brew. The French press is favored by many coffee enthusiasts for its ability to produce a robust cup without the need for electricity or complex machinery.
