Freeman Gosden
Freeman Gosden was an American actor and radio personality, best known for co-creating and voicing the character of Amos in the popular radio show Amos 'n' Andy. Born on May 5, 1899, in Chicago, Illinois, he began his career in vaudeville before transitioning to radio in the 1920s.
Gosden's work on Amos 'n' Andy made a significant impact on American entertainment, as the show became one of the first to feature an all-Black cast.
