Fred Hampton
Fred Hampton was an American civil rights activist and a prominent leader in the Black Panther Party. Born on August 30, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, he became known for his efforts to address issues of racial inequality and social justice. Hampton was particularly focused on community organizing and empowering marginalized groups through education and social programs.
Tragically, Fred Hampton's life was cut short when he was killed by law enforcement during a raid on December 4, 1969. His death raised significant concerns about police brutality and government surveillance of civil rights activists. Hampton's legacy continues to inspire movements for social justice and equality in the United States.
