Frank Murkowski
Frank Murkowski is an American politician who served as the Governor of Alaska from 2002 to 2006. He was a member of the Republican Party and previously represented Alaska in the U.S. Senate from 1981 to 2002. Murkowski was known for his work on energy and natural resource issues during his time in the Senate.
Before entering politics, Murkowski had a career in banking and was involved in the oil industry. He was born on March 28, 1933, in Anchorage, Alaska. After his governorship, he continued to be active in various business and community initiatives in Alaska.
