Frank McCourt
Frank McCourt was an Irish-American author, best known for his memoir, Angela's Ashes, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography in 1997. Born on August 19, 1930, in Limerick, Ireland, he faced a challenging childhood marked by poverty and hardship. His experiences growing up in a dysfunctional family greatly influenced his writing.
