Frank Harris
Frank Harris was an Irish-American journalist, novelist, and playwright, born on February 14, 1856, in Galway, Ireland. He is best known for his controversial and candid writing style, which often explored themes of sexuality and human relationships. Harris contributed to various publications and was the editor of the Saturday Review and The New York Evening Mail.
In addition to his journalism, Harris authored several books, including his autobiography, titled My Life and Loves. He was a prominent figure in the literary circles of his time, interacting with notable personalities such as Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw. Harris passed away on August 27, 1931, in Nice, France.
