Franco Harris
Franco Harris was a professional American football player, best known for his time as a running back with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). Born on March 7, 1950, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, he played college football at Penn State University before being drafted by the Steelers in 1972. Harris was a key player in the Steelers' four Super Bowl victories during the 1970s.
Harris is particularly famous for his role in the "Immaculate Reception," a legendary play in NFL history. Over his career, he was selected to the Pro Bowl nine times and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
