Fran Tarkenton
Fran Tarkenton is a former professional American football quarterback, best known for his time with the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants. He played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1961 to 1978 and was known for his ability to scramble and make plays on the run. Tarkenton was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986.
Tarkenton was also a pioneer in the quarterback position, helping to popularize the use of the scrambling style. He retired with numerous passing records and is remembered as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
