Four Rivers Project
The Four Rivers Project is an initiative in South Korea aimed at improving water management and environmental conditions. It focuses on the restoration and enhancement of four major rivers: the Han, Nakdong, Geum, and Yeongsan. The project includes the construction of weirs, the creation of parks, and the implementation of flood control measures to ensure sustainable water resources.
Launched in 2009, the project seeks to address issues such as water pollution and flooding while promoting ecological health. It also aims to provide recreational spaces for the public, enhancing the quality of life for residents living near these rivers.
