Foster Care Awareness Month
Foster Care Awareness Month is observed every May to raise awareness about the importance of foster care and the needs of children in the system. This month encourages communities to support foster families and promote the well-being of children who are unable to live with their biological parents.
During this time, various organizations and agencies, including Child Welfare Services and Foster Care Agencies, host events and campaigns to educate the public about the challenges faced by foster children. The goal is to inspire more individuals to consider becoming foster parents and to advocate for the rights and needs of these vulnerable children.
