Foreskin
The foreskin is a fold of skin that covers the glans, or head, of the penis. It is a natural part of male anatomy and is present at birth. The foreskin serves several functions, including protecting the sensitive glans and maintaining moisture.
In some cultures, the foreskin is removed through a procedure called circumcision. This practice can be for religious, cultural, or medical reasons. The decision to circumcise is often made by parents and can vary widely across different societies and communities.
