Football Referees
Football referees are officials responsible for enforcing the rules of the game during a match. They ensure fair play by monitoring players' actions, making decisions on fouls, and managing the overall flow of the game. Referees use a whistle to signal stoppages and can issue yellow or red cards to penalize players for misconduct.
In addition to the main referee, there are assistant referees who help with offside calls and other decisions. The use of technology, such as VAR (Video Assistant Referee), has also become common to assist referees in making accurate decisions during crucial moments of the game.
