Flowing Hair Dollar
The Flowing Hair Dollar is one of the first silver coins minted in the United States, produced in 1794 and 1795. It features a depiction of Lady Liberty with flowing hair on the obverse side and an eagle on the reverse. This coin was part of the early efforts to establish a national currency following the American Revolution.
Only a limited number of these coins were made, making them highly sought after by collectors. The Flowing Hair Dollar is significant in American numismatic history and is often associated with the early days of the U.S. Mint and the establishment of the U.S. dollar.
